Konig is proud to be linked up again with, Nate Hamilton and Enjuku Racing as they push further into the 2017 Formula Drift season. Nate Hamilton returns to FD Pro Championship Series after competing in Pro 2 last year. After a mid pack finish in Round 1 in Long Beach, CA, Nate offers some of his thoughts about kicking off another season as a pro drifter.

The Ultraform is a lightweight, 7-spoke design that has been developed for strength on the track while offering a modern and aggressive look when rolling around town. The Ultraform’s design lends to efficient brake cooling as well as exceptional brake caliper clearance. With widths up to 10.5″ wide, toughening up the stance on many rear wheel drive vehicles is an easy task. Constructed with Flow Forming Technology, the Ultraform is light, strong and contains more elongation and shock resistance than a traditional cast design. The Ultraform is offered in 17×8″, 17×9″, 18×8, 18×8.5″, 18×9″, 18×9.5″, 18×10.5″, 19×8.5″, 19×9″, 19×9.5″, 19×10.5″ and finished in Gloss Graphite.
The Impression is a unique, split 10-spoke, face-forward design that will have heads turning for another look. AFTER 4 MONTHS of build-time into Nate Hamilton and Kevin Lawrence’s S-chassis pro drift cars, now comes the time to make sure it all works under the realities that come with drifting. Along with a general shakedown of the cars, the team dialed in suspension to find the balance between grip and slip, as well as squaring away some tandem practice runs with fellow Enjuku Racing teammate Josh McGuire. It isn’t all sunshine and rainbows though.. Kevin Lawrence suffers a major setback on their final test day. This created a serious challenge to get everything complete in the FINAL WEEK before Formula Drift Pro2 competition.

As an automotive enthusiast there is no doubt that SEMA is something you’re excited about even if you can’t attend. Its the show were all the newest automotive builds, vehicles and products are unveiled every year. The show has been getting larger and larger and it is now at an absolutely massive size. Konig had a great turnout at the 2016 SEMA Show.
At the SEMA show we unveiled some NEW products including a new Flow Formed Wheel called the Ultraform! We also released 3 other wheels –> Check them out here <– which you should be able to see more on our website soon. In our booth we also displayed some really cool vehicle builds, and of course having our models around sure does make everything better!
We were extremely honored to have Konig sponsored driver, as well as an incredibly attractive model, Savanna Little in the booth with her Nissan 350Z which has a LS3 swap in it. While Savanna races on Konig Hypergram wheels in 18×10.5 we used her car to show off the NEW Flow Formed Konig Ultraform in 18×9 et25 and 18×10.5 et25. THE FINAL PIECES of Kevin Lawrence’s S14 build fall into place and the Formula Drift competition chassis is up and running. With the testing days scheduled right around the corner, the crew loads up the cars for a last minute dyno trip! Making sure everything is ready to hit the track becomes top priority. After running into some issues on their first dyno attempt, Kevin and the crew at Enjuku Racing then have to make another trip back to the dyno on the day before testing to finalize the car.
