We bought a TIRE MACHINE on TEMU?!? 🤔

Here at KONIG, we’re surrounded by wheels at all times. And like Peanut Butter to the Wheel’s respective Jelly – TIRES go hand in hand with those wheels. With that being said, we thought it might be a good time to find a solution for mounting tires here at our HQ, but upon looking at used tire machines, pricing is quite high – sometimes upwards of $7,000.

Last week, Scott discovered TEMU, and with that, opened Pandora’s box in a sense – finding a KATOOL Tire Mounting Machine for just over $1,200 shipped. Too goo to be true, right? Let’s find out.

In this episode, we assemble the TEMU Tire Machine, and test the machine by mounting a tire to one of our new Forged Wheels – the F6SX. Let’s see how the machine holds up, and whether or not it was worth the money.

COMMENT BELOW if you’ve ever bought anything on TEMU? Did we get lucky with this purchase or were right in thinking we were gonna receive a toy tire machine or scam machine of some kind?

“You’re On Your Own” Fitments & How to MAKE IT WORK (sort of) | #FAQ

You’re On Your Own” Fitments & How to MAKE IT WORK (sort of)

If you’re ever seen our series called “Fit Check”, you’d know that in those videos, we outline 3 different categories of fitments (“No Hassle”, “Slight Flex”, and “All the Wheel”). If you managed to make it to the end of any of those videos, first let us say “thank you”… then, you’ll probably recognize a 4th category we like to call YOYO or “You’re on your own”.

YOYO is a bonus fitment category of sorts, but really more of a disclaimer. Anything width or offset sizing exceeding this point in our recommendations, and… you got it – you’re on your own. This is because in our experience, anything exceeding this point will require suspension modifications and/or body mods like rolling fenders or even over fenders or widebody kits will be necessary.

Maybe your buddy has fit a 10.5″ wide wheel and we’re only recommending a 9.5″. That doesn’t mean 10.5″ won’t fit in any situation, it means that your buddy more than likely had to put in some work just to make it fit – which is not a situation we want YOU to have to find yourself navigating out of.

Hope this video helps understand why we recommend the fitments that we do in our videos and if YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, feel free to comment them below and we’ll be sure to get back to you!
